Arizona Lockmsith Training And Licensing

Prologue: The only current states requiring Locksmith Licensing according to the Associated Locksmiths of America are: Alabama, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. The other states would either require a business license without prior current legislation in the area, or otherwise legislation maybe held in a specified time.

In the State of Arizona, here are what you can do to pursue a locksmith business:

  • Registering business structure (choose according to your business):
  1. Sole Proprietorship
  2. General Proprietorship
  3. LLC
  4. Limited Partnership
  1. Finding availability of business names
  2. Registering a trade name
  3. Reserving a business name for LLC
  4. Filing Arizona Trademark
  5. Filing Federal Trademark
  • Finding a business location (choose according to your business):
